We are neglecting our Children’s Behavioral Health.
NavWell is a secure, web-based solution designed by practitioners to connect, identify, and streamline communications between Primary Care and Behavioral Health providers in real time.
Substance Use Disorder
When a child visits a pediatrician, a parent or caregiver signs a release allowing the health provider to add the child’s protected health information into the NavWell system. Their secure information will then be shared with other referred providers and used to determine the best treatment approach for the child.
Secure information sharing
Comprehensive treatment planning
Easy to use platform
Flexible for any sized practice
Compatible with existing health information systems
Patient-centered approach to care
There are many people and organizations that are involved with NavWell’s success.
“NavWell will improve access to care, information about services in our community, and improved coordination and communication between providers. It should improve understanding and access to mental health services. I may also identify gaps in services and system issues that create barriers to care.”
Jo Ann Lawer
“The remarkable aspect of Navwell is its potential to help corral and lead multiple efforts across the Lancaster region. This is important. Doing good is not enough. It has to be consolidated with leadership.”
“We need to look at a patient as a whole being, and mental health is part of physical health. Facilitating the information flow between primary care physicians and behavioral health specialists will assist all professionals working with a patient to have a better idea of what is going on with that patient and better provide services.”
